Who We Are

Adam Wood led the successful advocacy effort to legalize cannabis in Connecticut on behalf of the Marijuana Policy Project.  Public Act 21-1 is considered a national model for its social equity provisions. Adam has served in leadership roles in

the state governments of Connecticut, and New York; and as a member of Governor Ned Lamont's transition committee. Adam has over 20 years of experience conducting successful media advocacy campaigns and government relations.

Deborah A. Caviness is a co-founder of the CT Black Chamber of Commerce, and President of the Greater Bridgeport Opportunities Industrialization Center. She participated in the development of cannabis regulatory strategy while serving on the Governor’s Cannabis Social Equity Advisory Committee. The Committee helped set the legislative framework for social equity programs and regulatory decisions including cannabis business licensing and revenue allocation for disproportionately impacted communities.

Daniel Glissman has focused much of his law practice on the formation, licensing, and operation of both medical and adult-use cannabis establishments. Daniel draws on deep knowledge and practical experience in all aspects of the cannabis industry, including corporate structuring and entity formation, commercial contract review, mergers and acquisitions, real estate leases and/or purchases, regulatory compliance, and state/local licensing. All members are advised that Daniel Glissman is not serving as counsel to the Chamber or, through membership, to any of its individual members.
